Day 5 - Mornington Peninsula Explorer

Das Wetter hat es angeboten und so sind wir losgefahren, die Mornington Peninsula zu erkunden. Von Nanette hatten wir viele Tipps bekommen, was wir uns alles ansehen sollten. Auf dem Hinweg sind wir durchgefahren mit zum Ende nach Portsea: tolle Aussichten und toller Strand.

Nach einem kurzen Stop an der Marina von Sorrento haben wir dann einmal etwas Wellness gegönnt: Peninsula Hotsprings in Rye. Es hört sich verrückt an, sich mitten im Sommer in eine heiße Quelle zu setzen. Aber es hat gut getan, war sehr entspannend. Die Anlage war toll mitten im Grünen gelegen, tolles Ambiente.

Die weiteren Highlights kamen dann auf dem Rückweg. Wirklich atemberaubende Aussichten und wunderschöne Strände. Die Aussicht über die Bucht Murrays Lookout bei Arthur's Seat war unglaublich schön. Man konnte sogar die Skyline von Melbourne am Horizont erahnen.

Weiter ging es dann die C783 direkt an der Küste entlang. Wahnsinn. Auch die Häuser dort waren traumhaft. Aber ich möchte nicht wissen, was sowas zum Beispiel in Mt. Martha Village kostet.

Letzter Stop auf dem Ausflug war in Frankston: Sand Sculpturing. Was man alles mit Sand modellieren kann, unglaublich. Thema dieses mal war die Tiere der Welt. War wunderschön anzusehen.

Dann ging es wieder nach hause und wir haben dann hier in der Nähe noch ganz toll zu Abend gegessen und was getrunken. Es war ein anstrengender Tag, aber es hat sich voll gelohnt.

The weather has offered it and so we left to explore Mornington Peninsula. By Nanette we got many tips on what we should look at everything. On the way we drove through with the end to Portsea: great views and great beach.

After a short stop at the marina of Sorrento we then once indulged somewhat Wellness: Peninsula Hotsprings in Rye. It sounds crazy to sit in the middle of summer in a hot spring. But it has done well, was very relaxing. The facility was great located in the countryside, great ambiance.

The other highlights were then on the way back. Really breathtaking views and beautiful beaches. The views over the bay from Murrays Lookout at Arthur's Seat was incredibly beautiful. We could even imagine the Melbourne skyline on the horizon.

Then we went the C783 directly along the coast. Madness. The houses there were gorgeous. But I do not want to know what something costs, for example, in Mt Martha Village.

Last stop on the tour was in Frankston: sand sculpturing. What can be modeled with dry sand, incredible. Theme this time was the world's animals. Was wonderful to look at.

Then we went back home and then we have around here quite amazing for dinner and had a drink. It was a tough day, but it has been fully paid.
